When you purchase your CHISP exam, you will be required to indicate that you are eligible to sit for the certification exam. If you are unsure of your qualifications contact us 877-263-1261 or by email at ashim_member_services@ashim.org. To renew the credential, the test taker must maintain annual ASHIM membership, which includes demonstrating a continued current knowledge in the healthcare industry through Continued Education Units. ASHIM provides CEU opportunities at no additional charge.
